Our 10 Year Anniversary Celebration

September 23-24th

We have each and every one of you to thank for supporting us and keeping us open for these 10 years.

 

Our story started when we found out that Finger Lakes Fibers, our favorite local yarn shop and hangout, would be closing in the fall of 2013. We decided to do something about that! FiberArts in the Glen was the realization of a dream shared by 19

local women who loved everything fiber. We got organized and spent a year preparing to open a shop of our own which, ten years later, is still

going strong. And that is because of you.

All of us at FiberArts In The Glen want to thank to each and every one of you for shopping local and keeping us here in Watkins Glen.

 

We are hopeful that it continues to be a place of creative inspiration, community

and camaraderie for the next 10 years (and beyond).

1:00 - 3:00 Weaving with Jeff DeMeritt

Music

2:00 - 4:00 We are very excited to have the much-loved Celtic band Se Leigheas in the shop Saturday afternoon. A seriously good time; don't miss it!!!

Wine Tasting

2:00 - 4:00 A select offering of wines from J.R.Dill Winery along with a complement of cheese and crackers.

Trunk Show

All Day Carrie Drake of Handmade Travels will be in the shop along with knitted samples and an offering of her stunning hand-dyed yarns.

Open Knitting, Crochet, Tatting, Anything :)

Noon - 3:00 Come with friends or come by yourself and make new friends. Bring a snack to pass and we'll supply drinks. This is a great time to ask questions if you hit a snag or need to fix a mistake. Special SOCKTOBER DISCOUNT COUPON given to attendees.
